FAQ.

Why should I hire a Makeup Artist for my wedding day?

Your wedding day will be the most photographed day of your life! So looking, and most importantly FEELING, your absolute best is crucial. As a professional makeup artist, it is my number 1 priority to make sure your makeup lasts all day long without any worries. Plus, how fun is it to get pampered and have one less thing to stress about on your wedding day?!

How do I book with you?

To inquire for your date, please Click Here. Once I've receive your inquiry, I will shoot you an email if I am available. From there we can discuss your approximate timeline, how many people will need servicing, etc. Then I will send over my bridal contract for you to look over with all the info you'll need to get booked. Once everything is confirmed, all I need is the signed contract along with your $150 retainer fee and we will be all set! I even have online payment options included in the file I'll send over, making everything super easy and transparent for you!

What is the Retainer Fee for?

This blocks off your wedding date exclusively for you! That way no one else can book your same date, and I can give you the most time and attention to detail for your wedding day. You may also use this fee to cover the cost of your makeup trial!

Do you work with any other artists?

Yes! If I myself am not available for your date or you have a large party, I have a few extremely talented artists on my team that would be happy to accommodate you and your bridal party!

Do you offer partial services like eyes only?

Unfortunately I no longer offer partial services, aside from if someone in the party just wants eyelashes applied. This is to insure that all of the work I do is up to standard and all of the services I provide are cohesive throughout the bridal party!

Will my makeup last all day?

Of course!! It is my job to make sure that all of the products and techniques I use insure that your makeup does not budge on the most important day of your life. Sweat and excess oil can sometimes be inevitable, (especially when you're rocking out on the dance floor!) however I will show you different techniques to help absorb any of that while still keeping your makeup looking flawless. I also offer touch-up kits as well just in case! However, the only thing you should count on needing to touch-up is your lip color (after all that smooching going on!!!).

What products do you use?

I carry a variety of luxury, high quality, and professional brands in my kit. Including but not limited to; Charlotte Tillbury, Makeup by Mario, Temptu, Face Atelier, Too Faced, MAC, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Benefit Cosmetics, and others. Every product I use has been tried and tested numerous times to make sure it is the absolute best for my clients! I don't like to restrict myself to one brand, as I don't feel that would be offering the best service to my clients.

How far in advance should I book?

Realistically, I would say within 1 year of your wedding date. I don't like to book too far in advance to make sure I'm not getting too far ahead of myself. Once booked, I recommend scheduling a trial and finalizing our timeline around 1-2 months prior to your wedding date.

How should I prepare for my makeup services?

Always come with clean, moisturized skin! I will take care of the rest. I use the best of the best when it comes to skin prep, etc. so you don't have to worry! I also recommend getting any facials, microneedling, etc. 1 month prior to the wedding, but no sooner than 2 weeks prior to be sure you don't have any adverse reactions or sensitive skin! I also recommend scheduling a Dermaplaning appt. a few days prior to the wedding date, it makes your makeup go on like butter and last even longer!! (trust me, you have to try it!)

Do you offer hair services as well?

I do not offer any hair services, only makeup. However, @kjandhairspray and @hairby_morganrose are my top gals for all your hair needs!

Can you accomodate large parties?

Yes! Typically I like to give myself about 1.5hrs for the bride, and 45mins per bridesmaid, however for large parties I have a few reliant and incredibly talented artists I work alongside that would be happy to help! If a second artist is needed to accommodate your bridal party, please let me know as soon as possible so I can check their availability. But, if the timeline allows and I've got my snacks and coffee on deck, I'm more than happy to take on larger parties myself as well!
